Dr. Lutful Aziz

Dr. Lutful Aziz graduated from Dhaka Medical College in January, 1985. In 1990, he went to Okayama to do PhD in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine under the Government of Japan Scholarship and he completed his PhD degree in 1995. After returning back to Bangladesh, he completed Fellowship in Anaesthesia (FCPS) from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1997. Prior to his joining Evercare Hospital as a Consultant, he was Associate Professor in Banghabandhu Sheikh and was the Academic Coordinator of the Post Graduate Studies of Department of Anaesthesia, Analgesia and Intensive Care Medicine. Mujib Medical University University Medical School University During his career he has travelled to many countries to attend International Congresses in Anaesthesia, ICU and Pain Medicine, and has delivered more than 75 lectures as an Invited Speaker. To his credit he has more than 45 publications in different national and international journals. He is in the Editorial Committee of four national and International journals. He is the Founder Member and current President of Bangladesh Society for Study of Pain. His areas of expertise are different techniques of modern anaesthesia like General Anaesthesia, Neuro Anaesthesia, Paediatric Anaesthesia, and other disciplines of anaesthesia. He is an expert on Obstetric Anaesthesia and Labour Analgesia. His special interest is Pain Medicine – dealing with regional blocks for different cancer and chronic pains.
