Dr. Miah Mohammad Rubel

Dr Miah graduated from Dhaka Medical College, the most prestigious institute of Bangladesh in the field of medical science in 2008. Then he completed Membership (MCPS) and Fellowship (FCPS) exam of Bangladesh’s most reputed post graduate institute, BCPS (Bangladesh College Of Physicians and Surgeons) in Medicine in January and July/2017 respectively. He pursued his MD (Masters) in Gastroenterology in 2020 from Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received the prestigious Gold Medal Award Of BCPS from honorable Prime Minister Of Bangladesh for outstanding performance in Fellowship exam of Medicine. He is a Medicine specialist and gastroenterologist. He worked in Dhaka Medical College Hospital as an Assistant Professor, Gastroenterology for last four years and has a vast experience in dealing Medicine and GI patients. He has expertise in Upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy and performed more than one thousand endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures. He has special interest in GI malignancies including Primary GI lymphoma. Currently he is working as a Consultant of Medicine in Rangpur Medical College Hospital and also involved in teaching the undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is a member of Bangladesh Society of Medicine (BSM), Bangladesh Gastroenterology Society (BGS) and American College of Physicians (ACP). He is also involved in making the people aware of common diseases by writing in the national dailies. He has 5 publications and he is also a peer reviewer for Annals of Internal Medicine Clinical Cases of ACP.
