Dr. Shawon Bin Rahman

Dr. Shawon Bin Rahman is a highly qualified burn, plastic, and reconstructive surgeon in Barisal, with an MBBS from Dhaka, an MS in Plastic Surgery, and a CCD from BIRDEM. He is experienced in the management of burn injuries, post-burn contractures, congenital deformities like cleft lip and palate, complex wound reconstruction, hand injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, and cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, liposuction, and scar revision. Dr. Rahman serves as a Resident Surgeon (Emergency) at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka, where he handles critical and emergency plastic surgical cases. He is dedicated to providing compassionate care with modern surgical techniques to restore both function and appearance for patients suffering from trauma, birth defects, or aesthetic concerns. He currently provides consultations at Popular Diagnostic Center, Barisal, located at 955 & 109, Shahid Nazrul Islam Road, Alekanda, Banglabazar, Barisal; visiting hours are 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Thursdays and 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Fridays.
