Prof. Dr. Golam Haider is a highly experienced oculoplastic and eye surgeon with qualifications including MBBS from Sylhet Medical College, FCPS (Ophthalmology) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, MS (Ophthalmology) from Dhaka University, and a Fellowship in Oculoplasty (Orbit & Oculoplastic Services) from Sarojini Devi Eye Institute and Hospital in India, known for his advanced expertise in eyelid, orbit, squint, oncology, and cosmetic eye surgeries; he served as Professor and Head of the Oculoplasty Department at the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, contributes to national and international ophthalmology societies (including Oculoplastic Society of India, All India Ophthalmological Society, Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh, Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), has numerous publications and awards, and consults patients at Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute, Dhanmondi with visiting hours 9 am–8 pm (Saturday–Wednesday) and 9 am–2 pm (Thursday) (closed Friday) — specializing in conditions such as eyelid deformities, orbital tumors, ptosis, tear-duct disorders, trauma reconstruction, and cosmetic eyelid procedures.
