Mamun Al Mahtab Shwapnil

Prof. Dr. Mamun Al Mahtab Shwapnil is a renowned hepatologist and gastroenterologist in Bangladesh with extensive expertise in liver and digestive diseases. Holding an MBBS, MSc in Gastroenterology from London, and an MD in Hepatology, he has also earned prestigious fellowships, including FICP (India), FRCP (Ireland, London), FBAS, and a PhD from the University of Malaya. As the Head of the Interventional Hepatology Division and former Chairman of the Department of Hepatology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital, he specializes in treating liver cirrhosis, hepatitis B and C, fatty liver disease, and gastrointestinal disorders. He consults at Farabi General Hospital, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, from 4 PM to 11 PM (closed on Fridays).
