S. M. Bakhtiar Kamal

Dr. S. M. Bakhtiar Kamal is a veteran trichologist and hair-transplant surgeon based in Dhaka with more than 18 years of experience, holding MBBS, DDV, and MD (Dermatology) degrees from BSMMU, and currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology at City Medical College Hospital after previously working as Assistant Professor at Dhaka Medical College; he is also Founder-Secretary General of the Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of Bangladesh and a member of several international hair-restoration bodies, having performed over 1,500 hair-transplant surgeries and authored more than 20 scientific papers while treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail diseases including alopecia, dandruff, eczema, psoriasis, acne, pigmentation disorders, cosmetic concerns, and advanced hair-transplant cases at Kamal Hair & Skin Center in Farmgate, Dhaka.
